Over many years, I collected beads - from Bali, Bangkok & Beijing to Hanoi and Helsinki, from Kathmandu and Kuching, to London and New York and of course Singapore. I looked for and acquired a myriad of different kinds of beads. With these, I create one-off necklaces that celebrate the richness and beauty of this universal aesthetic… My family, often an ally in my bead odyssey, now came forth to help bring Manik to fruition…
